For a residential concrete project, RP Garcia starts by removing the existing concrete. In most cases, we undercut the area and install 4 inches of DGA (base rock) for added support. The new concrete is then poured and finished with a light broom texture. Standard sawcut control joints are included, with optional trowel seams and trowel picture framing available. To maintain and protect the surface, sealing the driveway every 2 to 3 years is recommended.
